WIN appoints Ashley Myatt as regional sales manager for Northern NSW

The WIN Network today announced the appointment of Ashley Myatt to the position of regional sales manager – Northern NSW.

Ashley joins WIN’s new sales management structure and will work closely with regional sales manager – Queensland, Scott Bennett and regional sales manager – Southern NSW, Murray Bower. This new role will see all northern NSW staff report to Myatt.

Chief revenue officer, WIN Network Rod Jerman said, “It is fantastic news that Ashley is joining our sales management team. He has been the executive general manager of Northern NSW for SCA over the last five years based in Newcastle. He is well known and respected across the market, knows the clients in that area very well and will be a great asset to the WIN sales team.”

“He is passionate about supporting, developing and mentoring our senior sales leadership team which will be a great opportunity for our staff.”

“With 27 years of media sales and business management experience, he is nearly a media veteran. He has had various roles in electronic media with DMG and SCA across regional Australia stretching from Cairns in Far North Queensland to regional Western Australia in addition to northern NSW. I’m glad to be welcoming him to our team,” Jerman said.

“I’m looking forward to leading WIN’s northern NSW Sales team. I am joining at an exciting time in television and am keen to develop plans and strategies for clients and working with the sales team to deliver outcomes,” Myatt said.

The new role commences in May based in Newcastle.

Earlier this year,  Nine and WIN announced the signing of a new regional television affiliation agreement, replacing Nine’s previous deal with SCA.

Under the new agreement, which will commence on 1 July 2021, WIN will pay an affiliation fee of around 50% of its regional advertising revenue to Nine and provide airtime to Nine to allow the promotion of Nine’s assets across WIN’s television and radio network.
