TV Ratings March 11, 2023: Crowds tune in for Dolphins second win

Season two of The Larkins premieres on ABC

ABC’s Call The Midwife topped entertainment, rising 18% for a total audience of 677,000. 

Nine’s Space Invaders came in next, with an increase of 21% to reach 481,000.

10’s FBI: International had the highest lift on overnight with 22% to reach 217,000.

Overnight TV Ratings, March 11

Seven has ended the week in the top position, with a network share of 29.0% and a primary channel share of 19.2% after coming in second from Monday to Saturday. 9GO! topped the multichannels with a 4.7% share.

Seven’s top entertainment program of the night was Border Patrol which reached 329,000 after the 6pm news aired to 630,000. Later in the night, the network aired the 2010 film, Red, starring Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman, which clocked 231,000. 

On Nine, A Current Affair reached 400,000 as the program met with a grieving mother who has spoken out after she discovered the man behind the wheel of the car that killed her son has had his jail sentence reduced because of COVID-19. Later in the night, Space Invaders pulled in 310,000 as the team helped Holly and Darren transform their house of clutter into a relaxing haven. Additionally, Sully clocked 154,000.

On the ABC, the season two premiere of The Larkins topped entertainment pulling in 321,000, while Under the Vines clocked 310,000 as Daisy and Louis quickly realised that inheriting a vineyard isn’t the experience they had hoped for.

On 10, 155,000 tuned in to 10 News First, while 101,000 tuned into an encore of The Dog House Australia.

The highest-rated non-news show on SBS was The Abyss: Rise and Fall of the Nazis, with 79,000.

Fox League dominated subscription TV with its NRL coverage. Super Saturday: Round 2 topped the night with 346,000 views, followed by the Dolphins v Raiders match, which saw the newly-formed Dolphins claim victory with 20-14 in front of 332,000. Later in the night, Bulldogs dominated Storm 26-12, pulling in 309,000, while the Roosters v Warriors match clocked 192,000.
