TV Ratings June 18, 2022: Good Karma Hospital on ABC scores a crowd

ABC’s Good Karma Hospital topped the total TV ratings for non-news programs, bringing in 658,000 viewers, and increasing by 22%.

ABC also claimed the second top spot with Call The Midwife, which had the biggest lift on overnight, pulling in 623,000 viewers and an increase of 29%.

Nine’s Getaway came next reaching a total audience of 447,000 and rising by 5%.

Seven won the night with a network share of 32.5% and a primary share of 20.9%. 7mate took out the multichannel win with 4.6%, while Nine had a network share of 26.7%.

Seven’s Saturday Night AFL, which aired in every major city besides Adelaide, clocked 254,000 views, as Western Bulldogs took a 20-point victory over GWS at Giants Stadium to win 125 to 105.

Nine’s top non-news program was Getaway with 295,000 viewers, followed by the film Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again, starring Meryl Streep, Amanda Seyfried and Lily James, pulling in 188,000 people.

The Good Karma Hospital on ABC won the night, reaching 398,000 people, while Call The Midwife pulled in an audience of 368,000. Bluey on ABC Kids, brought in 289,000 viewers and placed in the top five most-watched programs in all key age demographics.

10’s top entertainment program was a repeat of The Dog House featuring the heartwarming stories of disowned and neglected dogs, which reached 212,000 people.

The top non-news program on SBS was The World’s Most Scenic Railways Journey with 135,000 views.

Fox League took out the top two spots on subscription TV, with its coverage of the Eels v Roosters match, topping the night with 271,000 views. The Eels dominated the Roosters 26-16 in round 15.

The Panthers dominated the Warriors in their final home game at Moreton Daily Stadium to take a 40-4 win, which pulled in an audience of 199,000.

On Fox Footy, Geelong took on West Coast winning 12.9 (81) to 9.9 (63) which brought in 188,000 viewers.
