TV Guide: Bachelorette Angie Kent gives her final rose over two nights

• Who is the odds on favorite

The final episode of The Bachelorette Australia, starring Angie Kent will air its penultimate episode on Wednesday, November 13 at 7:30pm and air the anticipated finale Thursday, November 14, at 7:30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

On Wednesdays episode after previously telling Angie he only applied for a dating show because she was the Bachelorette, Ryan was forced to reveal during a party game that he had auditioned to be a part of last year’s season with Ali Oetjen.

Earlier on a single date, both Angie and Ryan had listed dishonesty as being a relationship deal breaker, so when his secret surfaced, Angie was understandably fired up.

Before the dinner party exposé, Ryan had looked like a sure thing for a Hometown visit as his moves on the dance floor during the seniors group date had won him precious alone time with Angie.

In a single date that focused on building intimacy, Angie and Ryan had nailed a personality Q&A before they handed themselves over to the direction of love expert, Madeline Marie Terides.

Things heated up when the pair took turns being blindfolded and leading each other through a tease of the senses. While they didn’t quite get the hose down they needed afterwards, Angie and Ryan went on to enjoy a drink together where they both revealed they were falling for each other.

Back at the mansion, the boys discussed their distrust of Ryan with Timm the most suspicious out of the gang. Heavily invested after his recent single date with Angie, Timm was on a mission to remove the mask of this squeaky-clean intruder.

Later, all of Timm’s Christmases had come at once when Osher announced that instead of the usual cocktail party, the boys would instead enjoy a last supper with Angie where she would get to know some of their deepest darkest secrets.

First to be taken down by the Q&A was another favourite, Carlin, who was forced to reveal his plastic surgery past via a question intentionally planted by Ryan.

Soon after, Angie asked if any of the boys had previously applied for a dating show. Jackson was quick to put up his hand and admit he had applied to be a part of Georgia Love’s season of The Bachelorette Australia.

After a long break, Ryan finally admitted that he too had auditioned for the show leaving Angie visibly stung.

Despite his massive faux-pas, Ryan was the first to receive a rose from Angie at tonight’s Rose Ceremony, securing himself a Hometown visit. Instead, we said goodbye to Queensland Bachelors Alex and Matt.

The Drama continued on to Thursdays episodes as Angie visited the hometowns of the final four Bachelors.

Timm was first to bring Angie to his home in the Central Coast of New South Wales. Over dinner at his family’s house, Timm’s best friend Jackson grilled Angie and asked her if she saw Timm at finish line.

Taking Angie aside for a one-on-one chat, Jackson did his best to warn Angie off his best mate, telling her that Timm was a massive party boy whose days of wild nights weren’t over.

From the Central Coast to the South Coast, Angie’s second stop was in North Wollongong to meet Ryan.

After catching Ryan out on a lie at the previous cocktail party, Angie was keen to get clarity from him on the reasoning behind the porkies.

Telling Angie that he had been approached by the casting team for a previous season and not having applied himself, Ryan assured her he signed up genuinely for this season because he knew it would be her.

From porkies to pork pies, Angie’s third stop was at Jackson’s hometown in Sydney. Taking her to his family’s pie-making factory and treating her to a gluten-free pie, Jackson was keen to rectify his red-carpet blunder on the first night.

Jackson’s dad laid down the law when it came to Jackson’s involvement in the family business and how relocating for love would be off the cards.

To make matters worse, Jackson stumbled trying to talk about his emotions and feelings for Angie.

Remaining in Sydney for the fourth and final pit stop, Angie met with Carlin at his second home—the gym.

Putting together a workout obstacle for them to complete, Carlin told Angie he was bullied at school and was never part of the cool group.

In an intimate chat with Carlin’s brother, Angie mentioned the rumour circulating the mansion that Carlin was only on the show to further his acting and modelling career.

Hoping his brother would shut down the accusation, Angie was left gobsmacked when his brother agreed that Carlin joined the show to build his portfolio.

In a tearful showdown, both parties tried to defend their intentions for being on the show. As Angie sulked down the driveway, Carlin was left uncertain on where he stood with her.

Despite this Carlin was the last to receive a rose from Angie and Jackson was sent home.

After an apparent on-air slip up from host Osher Gunsberg, Sportsbet has slashed Timm’s odds of winning The Bachelorette.

Only a week ago, Timm was considered an absolute rank outsider at $16, but after Osher let slip who will make the season’s finale this morning on The Kyle and Jackie O Show, the loveable larrikin’s odds were slashed to $2.50.

Carlin, has remained favourite throughout the series, but has drifted to $1.55 on the back of the on-air gaffe.

Unfortunately for Ryan Anderson, it looks to be curtains, now a $6.00 shot of finding love.

“We’ve seen these tactics before from channel 10, so we could still be in for a surprise tonight. For the punters’ sake, hopefully it’s not Carlin getting the ass tonight,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Rich Hummerston.
