SCA announces rebranding for Redwave Media radio brands

• The new Hit and Triple M stations will announce their show line-ups and announcers in March

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) today announced the rebranding of the eight Redwave Media Western Australian radio brands it acquired in October last year to the Triple M and Hit brands.

The regional radio stations included in the acquisition have been operating under the Red FM and Spirit FM brands in eight regional areas and remote mine sites. Under the changes, Red FM stations will move to Hit radio brands and Spirit FM stations move to Triple M brands.

From 8.00am (AEDT) 16 March, the stations will switch to the following brands:

  • 106.5 Red FM Karratha Hit 106.5
  • 101.3 Red FM Broome – Hit 101.3
  • 91.7 Red FM Port Hedland Hit 91.7
  • 96.5 Red FM Geraldton Hit 96.5
  • Red FM remote mine sites Hit WA
  • Spirit 98.1 FM Geraldton 98.1 Triple M
  • Spirit 102.9 FM Broome 102.9 Triple M
  • Spirit 94.1 FM – Port Hedland – 94.1 Triple M
  • Spirit 102.5 FM – Karratha – 102.5 Triple M
  • Spirit remote – mine sites – Triple M WA
