The event saw 15 teams across the industry support young people at risk

Group M have taken home the trophy at the 4th annual UnLtd: Big Kahuna surfing competition in Manly.

The event, powered by The Trade Desk, saw 15 teams across the industry catch the waves for good to support young people at risk.

The surfing competition included two rounds of surf tag and was open to all levels. The runners-up were Blobfish, with Group M taking first place.

It’s the perfect way to start summer, connecting with the industry outdoors in the sun and all for a great cause. We’re really proud to continue our partnership and to support UnLtd make an impact on youth at risk. Kudos to everyone who got involved.”

The spectators received yoga lessons from Tonic Media Network, music from Spotify and alcohol-free beer tasting by Capital Brewery. The guests also got to bid on a custom surfboard, donated by Blobfish.

Tiffany Damm, commercial director of UnLtd said: “Thanks to everyone who joined us, our sponsors and our event partners The Trade Desk. We loved bringing the industry together to have some fun in the sun, learn new skills and of course to raise much needed funds for youth at risk.

“It’s been a busy year with 25 UnLtd events across the country – huge thank you to everyone who has supported us this year and joined our events, in every weather.”

The UnLtd: Big Kahuna event was the last UnLtd event of 2022. The next 2023 event will be the Big Clash cricket tournament heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and Auckland in February and March 2023.

Last month, The 4th annual UnLtd: Big Dream event took place and saw over 700 people across the media, marketing and creative industry come together.

The event aimed to celebrate and showcase the positive impact the industry has had on young people at risk.
