Bench Media raises $25,000 for Youth Off The Streets at Sydney trivia night

The Sydney agency’s annual Charity Trivia Night drew 130+ media professionals and raised funds for youth homelessness programs.

More than 130 media and marketing professionals gathered in Sydney on 19 June 2026 for Bench Media’s annual Charity Trivia Night, raising $25,000 for youth homelessness charity Youth Off The Streets.

Held at Club York Sydney, the event brought together professionals from across the media, marketing, and advertising industries. Funds will go towards Youth Off The Streets’ programs spanning education, housing support, counselling, and pathways to employment.

The trivia night alternates annually with Bench Media’s Coastal Charity Walk as part of the agency’s ongoing partnership with the charity, facilitated through industry body UnLtd.

Industry backing

Ori Gold, CEO and Co-Founder of Bench Media, said the turnout demonstrated the industry’s capacity to unite behind a common cause.
“Every day our industry competes for clients, pitches and market share. But nights like this remind us that some causes are far more important than competition,” said Gold.

“To see more than 130 people give up their evening to support vulnerable young Australians was incredibly humbling. The generosity in the room was remarkable, and we’re grateful to everyone who contributed.”

Kylie Sharp, Education DFSV Prevention and Support Team Lead at Youth Off The Streets, said the funds would help the organisation maintain consistent support for young people carrying significant trauma.

“The young people we work with can often carry years of unspoken trauma. What they need more than anything is someone who shows up consistently and doesn’t walk away from them,” said Sharp.

“The generosity of Bench Media and everyone who came together on Thursday night means we can keep doing exactly that – being there before crisis hits and walking alongside young people until they find their footing again.”

Kath Solly, Impact Account Director at UnLtd, said the event reflected the purpose behind the organisation’s model.

“Bench’s dedication to helping young people facing disadvantage has been evident in every conversation, idea and activation,” said Solly.

“Seeing them embrace Youth Off The Streets with such genuine care reflects the very heart of UnLtd – bringing charities and industry together to build meaningful partnerships that create lasting impact for young people.”

Club York Sydney donated the venue, allowing a greater proportion of funds raised to go directly to the charity. Prize sponsors included Hisense, Perion, IAS, Convo Media, and SCA.
