Duncan Campbell, the former ARN chief content officer, has launched CD Media Consultancy, a specialist advisory business for radio and audio operators.
The consultancy is aimed at broadcasters, media groups and investors navigating changes across the audio market. It will offer strategy development, programming support and execution guidance, with Campbell personally involved in client engagements.

Campbell spent 15 years leading content strategy at ARN before stepping away from the business in 2025. CD Media Consultancy will be supported by a group of industry figures including Buzz Knight, Phil Dowse and Mike Sheppard.
“After 15 years as Chief Content officer at ARN launching CD Media Consultancy with support from some of the biggest and most respected names in the industry is exciting!
“We offer something that is unique with the combination of human expertise and the AI insights of MoodiSonic. This is designed for the future and built to give clients a winning advantage,” Campbell said.
Consultancy model
CD Media Consultancy said it will work with selected clients on a no win, no fee model, placing part of its commercial return against agreed outcomes.
The company said the model is designed for broadcasters seeking external support on ratings performance, programming direction, breakfast shows, restructuring or market entry.
Campbell said the consultancy will not operate as a report-only advisory business. Instead, CD Media Consultancy will build the strategy, develop the plan and remain involved through execution.
MoodiSonic AI partnership
The consultancy has also entered an exclusive partnership with Singapore-based Max Dragon Technology to use MoodiSonic AI.
CD Media Consultancy describes MoodiSonic as a broadcast-focused large language model developed for radio and audio media. The platform is designed to analyse areas including station sound, shows, talent, imaging, audience behaviour and competitive positioning.
The consultancy said the technology will be used alongside human expertise to support research, programming decisions and broader content strategy.
CD Media Consultancy is accepting new client engagements from Q3 2026.
