Cameron said of the SCA results: “SCA maintaining its No.1 share nationally in the critically important 25-54 demographic is testament to the strength of our radio brands and premium talent in each market.

“In addition, the growth of nearly 200,000 weekly cumulative audience engaging with our stations to deliver another all-time national audience record shows that the return of audiences going back to work, back in the car, back to a more normal life after the last two years is very real.

“Since relaunching in September 2021, 2Day FM has become Sydney’s fastest growing station with 260,000 new listeners giving it a weekly audience of 845,000 – 2Day’s largest audience since survey #1 2019, and 45% growth since the station’s relaunch.

Carrie & Tommy have increased their national metro audience by 125,000 to 1,697,000 as they continue to be Australia’s most adventurous and fun national Drive show having recently taken 30 listeners to London on the trip of a lifetime.

“SCA’s DAB+ stations have achieved a record 1.282 million listeners.

“All these results show how well our brands are resonating with local audiences,” he added.
