Adam Spencer launches The Big Questions podcast on PodcastOne

Guests will include writers, scientists, comedians and thinkers

Author, broadcaster and comedian Adam Spencer this week launches his The Big Questions podcast on PodcastOne.

Big Questions HQ is his place to talk to smart, interesting people about smart, interesting stuff.

Spencer speaks to a range of experts across a mix of different topics, with a strong tilt in the direction of science and technology.

“The idea is pretty simple – we’ll ask some Big Questions and we’ll find some big experts to help answer them,” said Spencer.

In Series One of The Big Questions, guests will include writers, scientists, comedians and thinkers who know their craft and talk about the way they shape the world.

Spencer added: “I find few things more exciting than sitting down with a fascinating person and asking them questions. Turns out, someone was recording it! I hope you enjoy.”

Announcing The Big Questions, head of SCA Podcasting for PodcastOne Australia Grant Tothill said: “We’re excited to have Adam join the PodcastOne Network with his unique ability to entertain audiences around his passion of mathematics and asking the big questions.

“Smart, humorous and clever. The Big Questions is a must listen for everyone.”

The Big Questions Episode One – Why do we love sport?

Australians love sport…REALLY love sport. But why? And do we actually love it more than anyone else. Spencer asks this Big Question:

Why do we love sport? and gets answers from one of Australia’s most respected sports journalists Tracey Holmes as well as Richmond tragic Mick Molloy. Recorded prior to the Tigers 2017 AFL Premiership, you can just hear the cocktail of excitement and fear in Molloy’s voice as his team march closer towards their historic win.
