Creator marketing and technology platform Fabulate has appointed Jon Kee as Commercial Director for Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea.
It’s a newly created role designed to accelerate the company’s regional expansion.
Kee, who brings more than two decades of experience across Meta, Yahoo, and The Walt Disney Company, will be based in Singapore and lead Fabulate’s commercial operations across client, platform, and agency partnerships in the three markets.
Senior hire signals regional push
Ben Gunn, Chief Revenue Officer at Fabulate, said the appointment reflected the growing importance of creator marketing as a mainstream channel.
“Jon is one of the most respected commercial leaders in the region and brings an extraordinary combination of platform expertise, commercial acumen and brand-building experience,” said Gunn.
“Having held leadership roles across companies such as Meta, Disney, and Yahoo, he has a rare understanding of how technology, media, content and partnerships come together to drive business outcomes.
“As creator marketing continues to mature into one of the most important channels in the marketing mix, having someone of Jon’s calibre join the business is a landmark moment for Fabulate.”
Kee’s background
At Meta, Kee played a key role in developing strategic agency partnerships and in establishing the company’s operations in Malaysia.
During his tenure at The Walt Disney Company, he led multiple regional functions across brand marketing, partnerships, creative, and digital, overseeing a team of more than 40 specialists across Southeast Asia.
Kee said the fragmented state of creator marketing workflows was a key draw to the role.
“The creator marketing industry is experiencing such phenomenal growth, yet many brands are still managing fragmented workflows, disconnected data and manual processes that limit scale and efficiency,” said Kee.
“What excites me most about Fabulate is that it has built a genuinely end-to-end platform that brings together technology, intelligence and creativity in a way that the market has been demanding for years.
“The opportunity across Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea is enormous, and I look forward to working with our clients, agency partners and platform partners to help shape the future of creator-led marketing across the region.”
Fabulate’s regional footprint
The hire comes as Fabulate operates across nine APAC markets, including Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, South Korea, and Japan.
Over the past two years, the company has established its Singapore operations and launched its suite of AI-powered SparQ products.
Fabulate has been named in the Deloitte Tech Fast 50 for two consecutive years and recognised as Best Influencer Marketing Platform by MARKETECH APAC.
