Nine secures a Sunday night victory with its news bulletin and Shark! leading the Sunday night ratings.

The weekend wrapped up with fierce competition across the networks, as Nine and Seven battled for dominance in Sunday night television.

Nine’s 9News Sunday recorded a total TV national reach of 2,120,000, a total TV national audience of 1,270,000 and a BVOD audience of 196,000.

Seven’s Seven News – Sun recorded a total TV national reach of 2,104,000, a total TV national audience of 1,362,000 and a BVOD audience of 143,000.

Nine’s Shark! recorded a total TV national reach of 1,687,000, a total TV national audience of 628,000 and a BVOD audience of 107,000.

Seven’s Seven’s AFL: Sunday Night Football recorded a total TV national reach of 1,538,000, a total TV national audience of 452,000 and a BVOD audience of 65,000.

Seven’s Seven’s AFL: Sunday Afternoon Football recorded a total TV national reach of 1,281,000, a total TV national audience of 425,000 and a BVOD audience of 44,000.

Reviewing the Consolidated 7 data from Sunday 24 May 2026, Seven’s Seven News – Sun captured the top spot overall. The Sunday bulletin secured a total TV national reach of 2,361,000 and a total TV national average audience of 1,535,000. Nine’s 9News Sunday followed closely behind, as it achieved a national reach of 2,145,000 and drew an audience of 1,399,000.

Entertainment formats also performed strongly in the consolidated figures. Nine’s 60 Minutes achieved a national reach of 1,889,000, while Seven’s The 1% Club captivated viewers with a total reach of 1,835,000. 10’s MasterChef Australia Sun held steady in the food space, recording a total TV national reach of 1,303,000 and a strong BVOD audience of 211,000.
