SBS will deliver full-stage live broadcasts, daily highlights, recaps, tactical explainers and supporting digital content across both races.

Caleb Ewan joins SBS commentary team

Australian sprinter Caleb Ewan will join SBS’s Tour de France commentary team in 2026.

Ewan, one of Australia’s greatest cyclists, won three stages in the 2019 Tour de France and will bring race analysis and tactical insight to the broadcast.

Matthew Keenan will lead on-the-ground commentary in France, alongside David McKenzie, with both marking 20 years of bringing the Tour de France to Australian audiences.

Dr Bridie O’Donnell and Simon Gerrans will also provide expert analysis.

For the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, Olympic gold medallist and former world champion Grace Brown joins Keenan, McKenzie and Emily Watts on commentary.

“Few sporting events match the scale, drama and emotion of the Tour de France and Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift,” Shipp said.

“Every stage tells a different story – from epic climbs and fearless attacks to unforgettable finishes. SBS has been part of that journey for decades, and we’re proud to continue bringing Australians every moment, live and free.”
