TV Ratings November 19, 2022: Doc Martin and Shetland bring a crowd for ABC

Doc Martin’s second episode of season 10 dominated the total TV ratings, pulling in 918,000 views and rising 36%. 

Border Security – Australia’s Front Line on Seven came in next, reaching 632,000 people and rising by 3%.

The Capture on ABC experienced the most significant increase on total TV, with 58% reaching a total audience of 471,000

Overnight TV Ratings, November 19

Nine has won the Saturday night network share, with 28.6%, while Nine and Seven shared the primary channel share win, with 18.8%. On the multichannels, 7TWO took out the win with a 4.3% share. 

A Current Affair was the network’s top show, with 398,000 views as the program explored Australia’s largest indoor vertical cannabis farm and the advanced company forecasting a massive turnover. Additionally, Getaway clocked 233,000 views, while The Bourne Identity reached an audience of 204,000. 

Seven Border Security – Australia’s Front Line was the network’s top entertainment program of the night, bringing in 357,000 views as a US citizen was detained when officers suspected he’s been working unlawfully in the country. Later in the night, Aquaman clocked 202,000 views.

On ABC, Doc Martin won the night, bringing in 482,000, making it the top entertainment program. The third episode of season 10 saw Martin attend Stewart’s survival course. New on ABC this weekend was crime drama series Shetland, which follows DI Jimmy Perez and his team as they investigate complex crimes within a close-knit island community. The program had 361,000 views.

On 10, 10 News First reached 150,000 people, while Blue Bloods brought in an audience of 104,000.

A repeat of Michael Palin: Travels of a Lifetime on SBS reached 106,000 views.

Fox Cricket has dominated the night, claiming the top five spots on subscription TV. Australia defeated England at the SCG to claim ODI series victory as Steve Smith helped Australia clinch the series win by a whopping 72 runs. The coverage clocked 243,000 views, followed by the innings break with 193,000.
