Total TV Ratings, June 12

MasterChef Australia was the top entertainment program in the total TV ratings with an audience of 881,000, an increase of 20% on its overnight ratings. The episode saw Michael Weldon go home after his fish was overcooked. 

7News Spotlight (911,000, up 7%) performed well for Seven in primetime as the program confronted the international scammers targeting vulnerable Australians and rescued victims in real-time. 

On Nine, 60 Minutes had 690,000 viewers (up 13%), while Australia remains Top Gun mad with the original film bringing in 448,000 viewers (up 13%)

Nine enjoyed a dominant win last night after rolling out the red carpet for The Logies. Nine’s primary channel had a very strong 36.5% share while the broadcaster’s network was also #1 with 43.1%. 

The Logies had a robust 885,000 viewers tune in for the ceremony, while 826,000 watched the red carpet arrivals. This was up on the last time the Logies were held in 2019, where 799,000 watched the arrivals and 866,000 watched the ceremony. 

The night ended with Hamish Blake winning his second gold Logie, Blake commented after the win that it was “The first Gold Logie in five years not to be decided by Tom Gleeson.”

Earlier in the day, Nine’s NRL coverage of the Wests Tigers and Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs had 232,000 viewers.

On Seven, 7News Spotlight had 388,000 as Stuart MacGill revealed what really happened the night he says he was abducted and bashed by armed thugs. 

On 10, MasterChef was the top-rating program for the broadcaster with 484,000 viewers as Tommy was eliminated at the end of the three-course challenge after Alvin produced a legendary MasterChef dish.

On the ABC, Julia Zemiro’s Home Delivery returned for its new season with an audience of 415,000 viewers. Zemiro was joined in the episode by Ray Martin. Part 1 of Miss Fisher & The Crypt Of Tears then followed with 340,000.

The top non-news program on SBS was Voices from the Dead with 118,000.
