Mahomes’ spearheaded the Chiefs to Super Bowl glory last season, following a come from behind win over the San Francisco 49ers. A 14-2 regular season record saw Kansas City installed as favourites to defend their crown this year, and the Chiefs have continued that momentum through the playoffs.

However, they face a red-hot Buccaneers side, led by Tom Brady. Tampa Bay struggled to an 11-5 record in the regular season, but have looked a different team in the post-season.

Brady has previously won six Super Bowl’s with the New England Patriots, and Super Bowl LV will be the 43-year-olds tenth in his career.

Monday’s Super Bowl Day coverage begins at 2am AEDT, with a bumper schedule leading to Super Bowl LV (10am AEDT).
