The Commonwealth Bank Matildas will take on the New Zealand Football Ferns live on Friday, 8 April And Tuesday, 12 April on 10 Bold, 10 Play And Paramount+.

The Commonwealth Bank Matildas will face off against Trans-Tasman rivals the New Zealand Football Ferns in a two-match friendly series, building the excitement in the lead up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

After over two months on the sidelines for the Matildas, the team is heading to Townsville for the first match.

After a disappointing Asian Cup series earlier this year, the Matildas will be looking to rebound as they face off against their co-hosts of the highly anticipated 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Former Matilda players Amy Chapman and Grace Gill will provide viewers their insight and expertise across the two-match series. Melbourne Victory’s captain Kayla Morrison will add to the player power in commentary, joining the team on Friday.

Additionally, The Walt Disney Company and Football Australia has announced a new Australian-commissioned Disney+ Original which will tell the story of the Australian women’s national football team, the Commonwealth Bank Matildas, as they prepare for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 on home soil alongside co-host New Zealand.

The series will launch on Disney+ locally in 2023 and be available on Disney+ globally at a later date.
