TV Guide: Australia vs West Indies 2nd Test on Seven and Kayo

The 2nd test runs from January 25-29.

After smashing Pakistan to start the year and beating the West Indies in the 1st test in Adelaide last week, Australia are looking to round out their successful summer in the 2nd Test against the West Indies.

The first match of the 2nd Australia vs West Indies Test takes place from January 25-29, starting at 3:00 pm AEDT on Seven and Kayo. 

The opening Test match against the West Indies saw Usman Khwaja partner with Cameron Green, unfortunately, as the match came to a close, Khawaja suffered a jaw injury from a bouncer by Shamar Joseph. 

He retired early from the game and passed his concussion test before being taken to hospital for scans to assess any possible damage. He is expected to appear for the 2nd test.

Seven reports that their Test and BBL coverage across the summer has reached a combined 10.5 million Australians nationally, including 7.1 million in the capital cities. 

The three Australia v Pakistan Tests reached 8.75 million people nationally (5.8 million in the capital cities), with an average national audience of 725,000 nationally. The average audience was up 3% nationally on the same Tests in the 2022-23 season and up 4% in the capital cities.

The first test in Perth saw a 29% increase nationally year-on-year (up 31% in the capital cities), while the third Test was up 3% nationally and 4% in the capital cities.

The BBL’s average season-to-date national audience is 484,000 and has grown in the capital cities, including a 24% jump in Brisbane and a 2% increase in Melbourne.
