TV Guide: Australia Cup final on Channel 10 and 10 Play

Australia cup final 2023

The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:45 pm AEDT

On Saturday,  October 7, Sydney FC and Brisbane Roar will go head to head at Allianz Stadium to crown the 2023 Australia Cup winner. The match will be available to watch on Channel 10 in all markets except Perth, which will be able to watch on 10 Bold. The match will also be available to stream live and free on 10 Play.

The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:45 pm AEDT, with pre-game coverage will begin at 7:00 pm AEDT.

This will be the fourth time that Sydney FC has appeared in a final of the nation’s largest annual knockout sporting competition (formerly the FCC Cup), however it will be the first time on the main stage for the Brisbane Roar.

The match location of Allianz Stadium is Sydney FC’s home ground, however Football Australia has clarified that this decision was made due to factors including date clashes and stadium sizes.

Speaking to news.com.au ahead of the match, Sydney midfielder Anthony Caceres said that the competition is more than the lead in to the A Leagues, which kicks off from October 20.

“It’s a bit more than a pre-season Cup now that the winners get to play in Asia, so there’s a lot more to play for.”

“There’s also silverware on the line, and when you’re at a club like Sydney, the demand is that you compete for silverware every season.

“We find ourselves in a good position at the moment and we’re enthusiastic about this game.”

The predicted lineups for the Australia Cup final are:

Sydney FC (4-3-3): Redmayne, Adamson, Rodwell, Girdwood-Reich, King, Brattan, Burgess, Caceres, Mak, Wood, Lolley

Brisbane Roar (4-2-3-1): Freke, Hingert, Neville, Aldred, Zabala, Caletti, O’Shea, Mileusnic, Hore, Armiento, Waddingham

Australia Cup Final: Sydney FC v Brisbane Roar, Saturday,  October 7 on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
