Our Flag Means Death has made another clean sweep of the TV demand charts, coming in at 30.65 points above the market average in Australia and 26.24 in New Zealand as HBO is still yet to confirm a second season.
Disney + original, Moon Knight continues to climb the charts, taking over Bridgertons #2 spot from last week. The penultimate episode came in at 26.43 above average in Australia and 23.11 in New Zealand, while Netflix’s Bridgerton falls two points from last week to 24.02 in Australia.
Across the board, Netflix’s Stranger Things has placed higher in the charts in anticipation of the season four release in late May. After an almost three-year hiatus, the popular supernatural horror action thriller series will return to screen in two parts. Volume 1 premieres on the streaming service on May 27, with Volume 2 following on July 1. This week, the show ranked fourth in Australia and New Zealand’s digital original charts with 22.68 points and 14.96 respectively.
In Australia’s overall TV shows, Sesame Street has climbed to fourth with 23.28 points above average, while crime-drama series Better Call Saul ranks fourth in New Zealand with 17.55 points.
Making its debut in the TV demand charts is HBO Max original Tokyo Vice, placing ninth in Australia with 13.66 points and eighth in New Zealand, hitting 9.52 points. Set in 1999, the plot revolves around an American journalist, who relocated to Tokyo. From learning the Japanese language to becoming their first successful foreign-born journalist, the series captures his journey as he explores the dangerous work of the mafia.
Other notable placements in Australia’s digital originals include Star Trek: Picard at sixth (17.86) Halo at seventh (15.45) and The Book Of Boba Fett at tenth (12.67).
