Sports Tonight returns to 10’s Late News

Sports Tonight returns to 10’s Late News from Monday, 25 May on 10 and 10 Streaming.

Network 10 is bringing Sports Tonight back, with the fan favourite returning as a dedicated sports segment within 10’s Late News from Monday, 25 May.

Adrian Franklin and Max Burford will lead the refreshed segment, joining Ursula Heger on 10’s Late News.

The segment will cover the latest sporting headlines, analysis, and stories from Australia and around the world, alongside the unexpected moments that get fans talking.

World Cup expansion

During the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Sports Tonight will expand into a dedicated 30-minute sports offering once a week.

The expanded format will deliver more in-depth coverage throughout the tournament.

After the World Cup, the segment will continue to evolve with the addition of the Weekly Kick-Off and regular UFC coverage as part of the broader Sports Tonight lineup.

Network 10 on the return

Martin White, VP News at Paramount Australia, said the return of Sports Tonight was a natural fit for 10’s Late News.

“Given the success of 10’s Late News, it’s time we introduced some dedicated sports coverage to the bulletin.

“Much-loved 10 News brand Sports Tonight is the perfect fit for the relaxed, late-night feel of the show, and I know the team will do a great job.”
