Samantha Armytage to host new season of Farmer Wants A Wife

Farmer Wants A Wife

Seven’s first look at newest season reveals every farmer will find love

Five new farmers are preparing to follow their hearts when Farmer Wants A Wife returns with its most romantic season ever on Seven and 7plus.

For the first time on Australian television, every farmer will find real love, but who will they choose?

After joining as guest host last year, Samantha Armytage will now be stepping up as host, whole longtime host Natalie Gruzlewski is set to stay on as co-host.

Thousands of eligible single ladies have applied to meet the farmers. Audiences can join as they meet their favourites, inviting a special five back to the farm to learn who will spark a love that can last forever.

Through first glances, first kisses, romantic dates and life-changing moments, this season, every farmer will know what true love feels like.

After nine weddings, five long-term relationships and 25 babies, Farmer Wants A Wife returns with hostArmytage and Gruzlewski playing cupid, as they guide the new crop of farmers down the road to real love.

This year’s farmers include:

Farmer Brad, 32 – Cootamundra, NSW
Farmer David, 29 – Pozieres, Queensland
Farmer Brenton, 26 – Darriman, Victoria
Farmer Matt, 23 – Bookham, NSW
Farmer Andrew, 41 – Narromine, NSW

The 2022 season concluded with Farmers Will, Ben and Harry finding love on Channel 7 and 7plus, which reached 523,000.

Back in September, Mediaweek spoke to host Natalie Gruzlewski about bringing the show to life.

She said, “The success comes from the casting process. The singles aren’t applying for the show so much as ‘swiping right’ for their Farmers on the casting website. They choose each other before going on the show.”
