Publicis Groupe ANZ has won the Australian HR Team of the Year at the 2023 Australian HR Awards.
The holding company took out the title in the more than 1000 employee category against fellow finalists Telstra, Transdev Australasia, The Disability Trust, Greencross Vet Services, GrainCorp and BGIS.
Jessica Farrell, head of people & culture and head of DE&I ANZ, accepted the award on behalf of the organisation at the black-tie gala for The Australian HR Awards 2023, held at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on September 1.
Pauly Grant, chief talent officer ANZ & APAC and head of people strategy, celebrated the recognition and hard work of his team.
“This award is an incredible recognition for all the brilliant work the People & Culture team produce for our Publicis people and agencies,” he said.
“We are constantly striving to push our thinking and approach to deliver on our ambition to create an inclusive and empowering environment for all of Publicis,” Grant added.

The award comes after Publicis Groupe was among the media companies named employers of choice at the 2023 Australian Business Awards.
The Employer of Choice (EOC) from the Australian Business Award recognises organisations that develop workplaces that maximise the full potential of their workforce through established policies and practices that demonstrate effective employee recruitment, engagement and retention.
This is the third consecutive time Publicis Groupe has received the recognition, Michael Rebelo, CEO of Publicis Groupe Australia and New Zealand was proud of the company’s efforts to achieve the title.
“While creating a supportive environment will always be an ongoing journey, being named an Employer of Choice for the third-year running is something we’re extremely proud of,” he said.
