Nova Entertainment reveals new hire in Nova music structure

• Hulme will commence the role based in Melbourne, on Monday 6 January 2020.

Nova Entertainment has appointed Irene Hulme (pictured) as part of a new strategic music structure for the Nova Network in 2020.

Hulme returns to Nova Entertainment as music director for the Nova Network. Hulme has worked across the three major Australian radio networks, holding senior roles at the Hit, Triple M, 2Day FM, KIIS and Nova Networks, in multiple markets. She spent the last five years with SCA, most recently she held the position of national head of music.

Hulme will work alongside Scott Baker-Smith, the Nova Network’s head of music, to oversee the Nova Network’s music.

Paul Jackson, Nova Entertainment’s chief programming & marketing officer said, “We’re delighted to welcome Irene back to Nova. Her vast experience, musical knowledge and programming skills are renowned in the industry. Along with Scott, we have two of the most respected music programmers in the country working for Nova.”

Irene Hulme will commence in the role of Nova Network music director, based in Melbourne, on Monday 6 January 2020.
