Toyota, Woolworths, Harvey Norman, and NRMA Insurance are among the major partners announced by Nine for the Paris 2024 Olympics and Paralympic Games

The broadcaster has announced the full subscription of its exclusive premium partnership positions six months ahead of the games, claiming it will be “the biggest exclusive total television, total audio and total digital publishing media event Australia has ever experienced”. 

Nine said Toyota, Woolworths, Harvey Norman, and NRMA Insurance are set to connect to 98% of Australians via the Olympics through Nine’s rights package, which enables brands “to seamlessly commercialise across TV, streaming, audio, digital publishing and digital assets”.

Nine is finalising discussions with brands for the sponsorship tier, which will be announced over the coming months. 

The total media promotional campaign that Nine is offering their partnering brands will stretch from the Winter Youth Olympic Games Gangwon 2024 to the Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony on September 8, 2024.

Nine’s chief sales officer, Michael Stephenson, stated further, “No other media company in Australia can reach all Australians like Nine can. Nine’s Olympic and Paralympic Games coverage will not just be world class, but world leading, and we are thrilled to partner with some of the biggest brands to ignite the Olympic spirit, engage and connect Australians like never before.” 

“With Gangwon 2024 beginning, Australians will start to see integrated campaigns rolled out on our Road to Paris and we are excited to share the athletes’ journeys as they strive for Olympic glory.”

NRMA’s role as the exclusive insurance partner for Nine’s Olympic Games coverage – a partnership secured in collaboration Initiative Media – with marks a milestone, as it becomes the first insurance brand to support a network’s Olympic Games broadcast.
