Nine has revealed the cast of Love Island Australia season three. The first 10 Islanders entering the luxurious villa are:

Host Sophie Monk said: “I am really excited about the show this year. I’m telling you honestly, it’s the best cast I’ve seen. And the Villa blew me away. It is so big. You want to stay in all the Love Island Villas, but this one is the ultimate. It is like paradise.”
The Islanders are hoping to find romance, passion and “the one” where they couple up, stay together, and win over the hearts of the public, all while surviving the temptations of beautiful bombshells entering the villa.
At the end of the series, the winning couple as voted by the public are handed a pot of money to start their new lives together, but there’s a very big catch: one partner gets the whole say in either sharing the money 50/50 – or walking away with the lot, like a love rat. Were they after love or the money all along?
Mediaweek spoke to Nine’s head of content, production, and development, Adrian Swift about what they look for in the Islanders
“One thing you learn very quickly when you’re casting these sort of shows is that the people have got to have a bit extra, there’s always got to be that thing about them,” he said. “That thing can be anything from an obsession with Star Wars, to a slightly skewed opinion of themselves.
“There are some really interesting people this year, they’re just people whose stories are inherently interesting. The great death of television is casting people on their backstory, you cast people on who they are going in and not what they’ll offer when they’re there. This year we’ve got people with good backstories, but who we know once they’re in there will give the audience content.”.
