Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand announces the launch of Nick News

Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand have announced the launch of a brand-new locally produced panel segment, Nick News.

Nick News, which now airs across Nickelodeon and 10 Shake, brings audiences a fun, fresh and engaging wrap-up of all the latest global news across entertainment, toys, music, sport, celebrities, quirky facts and much more.

Hosting the panel are real-life best friends Leyla-Princess Guldur, Nakita Clarke and Silia Kapsis – from Village Nation Performing Arts.

Guldur, Clarke and Kapsis are each content creators and triple-threat performers with their own YouTube channel.

“We are so excited to share all the latest Nick News with you all. Bringing you the latest worldwide updates from Down Under!” the trio said.

Nick News will air at regular intervals across the week and broadcast across Nickelodeon and 10 Shake. There will also be additional digital content available on the Nickelodeon AU Instagram account.

Nick News covers is content for the kids, by the kids and will cover new toys, programming kids can binge as well as the latest in entertainment news, TikTok trends and celebrities.

Last year, Nickelodeon Australia partnered with Travlr to launch of Nickelodeon Travel, a new co-branded online travel marketplace specialising in family-friendly travel.

The dedicated travel site will launch with a series of ‘money can buy’ experiences, designed specifically to cater to the needs of families with kids of all ages.

Powered by Travlr, Nickelodeon Travel provides parents with credible travel information and enables families to explore tailored holiday recommendations across Australia and New Zealand all in the one place.

The site also includes information on family-friendly destinations and provides access to exclusive and best value offers, as well as where to find specific family add-ons such as complimentary kids club and nanny services.
