The amplifyCBR brand will also be applied to all shared output across Hit 104.7 and Mix 106.3

Canberra FM Radio has revealed its next evolution with the re-positioning and re-brand of the venture to amplifyCBR.

The event, held on Thursday in front of a crowded room of clients, partners, staff and industry representatives, featured dazzling audio and visual packages that threw light on the power of audio and the role that the city’s two heritage FM stations have played, and continue to play in the lives of Canberran’s since 1988

Ford Ennals, CEO of Commercial Radio and Audio, spoke at the function and said: “The radio and audio market in Australia is in great shape, with Australia outperforming the world in terms of the strength and resilience of radio and the growth of the digital audio market.

“Audio in Australia is on fire prompted by innovation and investment from the Commercial Radio sector and represents an important growth opportunity.”

Craig Wagstaff, amplifyCBR general manager, said: “amplifyCBR is an accurate representation of what we have done, are doing and the future potential around the scope and scale for audio engagement for audiences and its opportunities for commercial partners.

“Our pillars remain around local content across multiple platforms including over 70 podcasts, a bespoke DAB+ station over and above our flagships of MIX106.3 and HIT104.7. It enhances even further our commitment to support the community of the Canberra region – the people who choose to support us each day.”

Emily Moss, amplifyCBR Commercial Director, added: “The traditional and integrated commercial solutions that we can offer our local clients is stronger and more powerful than ever as our brands and digital output reaches more listeners and consumers than any other medium in the territory. amplifyCBR is already a powerhouse in audio and will only continue to grow as we champion the power of audio.”

The amplifyCBR brand will also be applied to all shared output across Hit 104.7 and Mix 106.3 including News, Canberracast and RoundAbout branded content to name a few.
