Lawyers, sports agents, powerlifters, bounty hunters, teachers and firefighters are set to take on the new season of Australian Survivor: Titans V Rebels on Monday, January 29 at 7:30 pm on 10 and 10 Play.
The new series of Australian Survivor will pit the winners against the underdogs and the big wigs against the battlers in the ultimate fight to take the crown.
10 have teased a Titan is someone who has achieved a great feat against all odds, while Rebels love to go against the game, sticking it to authority. The series is set to be a battle of the rule makers against the rule breakers.
Titans V Rebels is the ninth series of the AACTA and TV Week Logie Award-winning program and is returning to Samoa. 24 all new players will make up the two tribes that will duke it out to find the Sole Survivor.
Across 47 days, the Titans and Rebels will take part in Reward Challenges, where they will compete for luxuries like food and camping essentials. In immunity Challenges, they will play for Immunity from being voted out of the game at the next Tribal Council. At each Tribal Council, each tribe must vote out one of their own.
Jonathan LaPaglia is returning for the ninth time to host this iteration of Australian Survivor. Most recently, Jonathan starred alongside Asher Keddie in Strife, Binge’s comedy-drama inspired by journalist Mia Freedman’s book Work Strife Balance.
This season of Australian Survivor will play host as the pilot market for a Shoppable TV initiative that provides a seamless consumer experience for viewers to purchase products from the show, straight from the connected TV screen.
This advertising innovation was crafted in collaboration with technology partner KERV and will not only be a first for Paramount globally but also a first for the Australian market.
Viewers will receive an on-screen message inviting them to pause content and explore Australian Survivor merchandise available in the Paramount Shop. Once paused a feature product carousel will appear showcasing available products and a ‘Shop Now’ call to action. After selecting a product, a shoppable screen will expand providing detailed product information and a QR code directing viewers to ‘Shop Now’.
