Aussie drama Lie With Me coming to Channel 10 on August 19th

Australia has a new local drama series hitting screens in 2021. Premiering Thursday, 19 August at 8.30pm, is all new Australian four-part drama Lie With Me on 10 an 10Play.

The Aussie drama sees British woman Anna and her Australian husband Jake, move from England back to Melbourne with their two small children after infidelity takes its toll on their marriage. With Anna resuming her career, they hire a young live-in nanny to help out around the house. Unfortunately for the family, local girl Becky is anything but the innocent stranger she pretends to be, and deadly consequences follow.

Lie With Me stars Brett Tucker (Neighbours, McLeod’s Daughters, and Britain’s Finest) and Charlie Brooks (EastEnders, UK’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!), Lie With Me is a story of deception, following your instincts and what lengths you would go to in order to protect the ones you love.

The series was created by Neighbours executive producer Jason Herbison and directed by Scott Major (Neighbours, Playing For Keeps). It was originally commissioned as Breathless in 2019 by Channel 10 and UK’s Channel 5, then updated to With Intent before going ahead as Lie With Me.

The cast also includes names like Phoebe Roberts, Caroline Gillmer, Stephen Lopez and Ian Bliss.
