Nine has now made it 15 consecutive days of dominance after once again registering the #1 primary channel (23.5%) and network (32.0%) for the night. This was thanks again to the continued success of Married at First Sight (MAFS) which was the top non-news program with 808,000 viewers. The episode saw another two couples get married as Holly and proud Texan Andrew tied the knot before Cody and Selina walked down the aisle. MAFS was also #1 in all key demos.

On Seven, Home and Away had 500,000 viewers before The Voice: Generations had 505,000 viewers for its third and final episode as 23-year-old Caitlin and her 52-year-old dad, Tim became the world’s first The Voice Generations champions.

After the announcement, Caitlin said: “Oh my gosh! With all these amazing teams, I just can’t believe it! Thank you so much Australia for voting for us and Team Rita.”

Coach Rita Ora commented: “I can’t believe it! Well, I can believe it, but I can’t, but I can! I’m so happy for you guys. You deserve it. I’m just so happy.”

Tim said: “When I perform on stage with Caitlin, I am in awe of her singing. It’s incredible.”

On 10, The Project had 222,000 (6:30pm) and 411,000 (7:00pm) viewers as the program talked about the texting drama in parliament and also spoke to Halle Berry.

Survivor had 486,000 viewers as the tribes made it an even double as Kate went home which makes her and brother Andy the first pair both voted off the show. Kate wasn’t the first choice but when David pulled out his Idol to save himself, with just three votes, Kate was sent home.

ABC’s comedy lineup made a roaring return to the public broadcaster’s schedule as both Hard Quiz (562,000) and Shaun Micallef’s Mad as Hell (541,000) returned with strong numbers that saw them both be two of the top three entertainment programs last night.

The top program on SBS was a repeat of The Royal House of Windsor with 169,000 viewers.
