Seven’s AFL Friday Night Football claimed the top spot for the most-watched non-news program on total TV reaching a total audience of 739,000, a lift of 1%, followed by The Chase Australia with 686,000 and an increase of 2%.

ABC’s Gardening Australia came in as the third most viewed non-news program with 646,000 and an increase of 18%.

The Teacher on ABC experienced the highest lift on overnight with 27%, reaching a total TV audience of 368,000.

Seven’s AFL coverage continues to bode well for the network, giving them the #1 network share spot with 36.8% and a primary channel share of 28.1%. Nine took a 27.4% network share and a primary share of 18.7%.

Seven’s Friday Night AFL coverage was the top non-news program of the night, bringing in a total of 540,000 viewers, with 281,000 of those residing in Melbourne.

The Melbourne Demons defeated The Essendon Bombers at the MCG for round three, taking a 14.15 (99) to 10.10 (70) win and being the most-watched program amongst all key age demographics.

Nine’s Friday Night NRL coverage reached an audience of 319,000, with 204,00 of those coming from Sydney as The Panthers took on the Rabbitohs at Bluebet Stadium. The Panthers defeated the Rabbitohs 26-12 in a game that featured an eight-point try.

Seven’s The Chase Australia was the most-watched entertainment program of the night, reaching 430,000 viewers, followed by ABC’s Gardening Australia with an audience of ​​344,000

The top entertainment show on 10 was a repeat of The Graham Norton Show with 159,000, while World’s Most Scenic Railway Journeys was the most viewed non-news program on SBS, reaching 147,000 people.

Fox League’s live Panthers v Rabbitohs coverage was the most-watched program on subscription TV, reaching an audience of 304,000, followed by Friday Night Footy with 247,000.

The Sharks beat the Knights 18-0, bringing in an audience of 214,000, while Fox Footy’s AFL coverage of Melbourne v Essendon reached 191,000 people.

Fox Sports 503 aired the Adelaide v Port Adelaide where Adelaide beat Port Adelaide 15.6 (96) to 13.14 (92) and had an audience of 107,000.
