TV Guide: UFC 264 Poirier Vs. McGregor on Main Event

Poirier McGregor

• McGregor and Poirier will finally settle their rivalry when they clash in their Lightweight trilogy

Fight mania will fire up this week on Main Event with UFC 264 on Sunday, July 11.

Fans will have access to all of the action with Main Event being the only place to watch the event Live on Foxtel and Kayo.

In a major coup for UFC fans, all future Main Event fights will now be available to stream via pay-per-view on Kayo at mainevent.kayosports.com.au, in addition to purchasing through Foxtel.

On Sunday, July 11, two of the top UFC lightweights go head-to-head once again in UFC 264 when the infamous Conor “The Notorious” McGregor faces the No.1 Lightweight contender Dustin Poirier in an explosive trilogy bout.

McGregor and Poirier will finally settle their rivalry when they clash in their Lightweight trilogy bout on UFC 264. The pair first fought in a Featherweight bout at UFC 178 back in September 2014 where McGregor made quick work of Poirier scoring a TKO win in less than two minutes. McGregor went on to become a two-division champion as Poirier matured into one of the greatest lightweights in UFC history. The pair squared off in a Lightweight rematch in January at UFC 257, where Poirier prevailed via a second-round knockout. This week at UFC 264, one man will have their hand raised and claim superiority in the rivalry, seven years after it began.

Also on the card, Australian UFC fighter ‘Bam Bam’ Tai Tuivasa steps into the Octagon to face Greg Hardy in the Heavyweight bout. Tuivasa is looking for his third consecutive win after previously knocking out Stefan Struve and Harry Hunsucker taking his record to 12-3.
