TV Guide: Tim Tszyu V Takeshi Inoue on Main Event and Kayo

• Tszyu and Inoue will begin their ring walks at roughly 9:30pm AEDT

Australia’s Tim Tszyu will be fighting for a world title shot when he takes on Japan’s Takeshi Inoue. The pair are meeting in Sydney, with the clash airing Wednesday 17th November from 7pm AEDT on Main Event and Kayo.

The preliminary card is set to get underway at 6pm AEDT before the regular pay-per-view portion of the undercard will begin its broadcast at 7pm. Tszyu and Inoue will begin their ring walks at roughly 9:30pm AEDT.

Tim Tszyu is the mandatory challenger to the WBO super welterweight title held by Argentina’s Brian Castaño, but if he loses to Inoue then his chances of taking the title are drastically reduced.

Even though Tszyu has won over former world champion Jeff Horn and title challenger Dennis Hogan, the fight against Inoue may well be one of his toughest.  Inoue is currently 17-1-1, only being defeated by Mexico’s Jaime Munguía in 2019 in a match that lasted a massive 12 rounds.

“He’s dangerous, he’s got knockout power and he comes to fight,” Tszyu said of Inoue.

“You can hit him nonstop and he’s just going to keep coming. It always presents a dangerous challenge when you’ve got an opponent like that.”

Tim Tszyu is currently on 19-0, 15KOs, with a five-fight knockout streak beginning December 2019.

The undercard features Wade Ryan vs Nath Nwachukwu and some of Tszyu’s former opponents including Dennis Hogan and Joel Camilleri.

To watch the pair face each other, as well as the other fights on the main card, you can purchase it through Main Event via Kayo and Foxtel for $59.95.

Foxsports.com.au will provide comprehensive coverage on fight day, including a live blog and video soon after the fight.
