The final vows kick off at 7.00pm tonight

Months of highs and lows in Married At First Sight will all come to a head at the final vows on Nine and 9Now from 7.00pm, Sunday, March 26 and 7.30pm Monday, March 27.

Over two massive nights, each couple’s fate will be decided as the participants choose if they want to continue their relationship into the real world or end things for good.

Heading into the final vows are couples Melinda and Layton, Lyndall and Cameron, Alyssa and Duncan, Tahnee and Ollie, Evelyn and Rupert.

The final Married At First Sight (MAFS) dinner party of 2023 was just as explosive as you’d expect, with Bronte and Harrison’s marriage falling apart at the table ahead of final vows. 914,000 watched as the dreaded Honesty Box came out, probably bringing more drama than honesty.

In a sneak peak of the final vows, the voiceover says, “the experiment has never ended like this.”

“Who finds true love? Whose heart will break?” the voice-over questions.

Alyssa says she “feels ready to open her heart”.

“Feel what my soul is feeling for you,” she tells Duncan in her final vows.

“Am I falling in love with you?” Ollie asks his bride.

Tahnee holds back tears, telling Ollie, “I’m so grateful to have met you.”

The voice-over teases that Lyndall and Cameron’s vows will be the biggest moment of the two nights, with their journey ending in a way the experiment has never seen before.

Ahead of the season, Mediaweek spoke to MAFS EPs Tara McWilliams and John Walsh about the new season and what it feels like to be at the forefront of the industry.

“The thing is, with Married at First Sight, we could go out and find exactly the same people that we had last year, and put them on the show, and I guarantee that it’ll be very different to what we got last year,” said McWilliams. “You can think you’re casting something or someone, but the way they respond to being in a show like this, in a bubble like this, you can never predict.”
