•The Book of Boba Fett claims number one again.

Disney +’s The Book of Boba Fett has claimed the number one spot in the TV Demand Charts for the second week in a row.

Over the past week, The Book of Boba Fett came in at 32.01 points above market average in Australia, a rise of two points from the week before.

As a result, The Book of Boba Fett’s sister show, The Mandalorian has continued to climb the charts, rising to second from sixth place last week in Australia’s overall TV shows. New Zealand saw The Mandalorian rise two points from last week with 14.1 points above market average.

This comes after episode five of The Book of Boba Fett was released on January 26th titled, ‘Return of the Mandalorian.’

Over at Netflix, Ozark ranked second in New Zealand and fourth in Australia with 23.33 above market average. This comes after the first part of Ozark’s fourth and final season was released on January 21st.

Fans of the show were left waiting on a cliffhanger as part two of Ozark’s final season is yet to be announced.

Ozark’s showrunner Chris Mundy explained the decision to split the show into two parts, saying the idea came directly from Netflix.

“We didn’t want to repeat ourselves, we didn’t want the show to feel like it was continuing because it was a TV show and it had to continue,” he said in an interview to The Wrap.

“The decision has always been between is it four [seasons] or is it five [seasons], and then Netflix hit upon the idea of saying, ‘We’ll do four but we’ll make it long and split it in this way,’ and that felt perfect,” he added.

The Witcher also remains in Australia’s top five, but down one spot to third from last week. In New Zealand’s overall TV show charts, it ranked ninth, down from fourth last week.

Amazon Prime’s sci-fi drama Expanse continues to rank in New Zealand’s top five for another week.
