Triple M adds four NRL legends to their commentary line up for the 2022 season

TRIPLE M

• Benji Marshall, Wade Graham, Aaron Woods, and James Graham are joining Triple M

Triple M NRL is set for kick off with league legends Benji Marshall, Wade Graham, Aaron Woods, and James Graham joining Triple M’s all-star NRL commentary line up for the 2022 season.

Triple M will continue its live and local commentary across all key games and NRL focused radio shows which are available to listen to live on-air across NSW and Queensland metro and regional markets, and available to live stream on LiSTNR.

Aside from Triple M’s newcomers, the commentary team will also include: Ryan Girdler, Gorden Tallis, Wendell Sailor, Dan Ginnane, Anthony Maroon, Ben Dobbin, and Andy Raymond.

Following a 19-year NRL career across four clubs which saw him lead the West Tigers to a premiership in 2005 and retire last year following a Grand Final appearance with the South Sydney Rabbitohs, Benji Marshall will also host a brand-new Triple M podcast on LiSTNR called The Monday Scrum alongside co-hosts Emma Lawrence and Brent Read, that breaks down all the big issues from the weekend of footy throughout the NRL season. The podcast kicks off on March 7 and features breaking news, in depth analysis and big opinions on the game.

Cronulla Sharks skipper, Wade Graham’s professional career has gone from strength to strength since making his debut for the Penrith Panthers. He has since represented NSW in State of Origin, Australia in the World Cup and is currently captain of the Cronulla Sharks.

Australian and NSW forward, Aaron Woods also joins Triple M NRL line up. He currently plays for the St George Illawarra Dragons, having previously captained West Tigers and played for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and Cronulla Sharks.

The British Bulldog who quickly made a name for himself on Australian soil as a passionate prop, James Graham will ignite Triple M’s airways just like he did with his balls skills that played a major role in the Bulldogs attack in the 2014 NRL Grand Final. He debuted for Canterbury, however moved to St George Illawarra in 2018 to help them to the finals and reach his 400th first-grade game the following year before retiring.

Triple M’s NRL coverage will also be featured on its Rush Hour Drive shows in Sydney, Brisbane and its state-wide regional NSW and Queensland markets as well as on LiSTNR.

Triple M will cover all key games from season kick off on 10 March, right up until the final whistle of the Grand Final on October 2.
