Annabelle McNamara’s appointment is effective immediately

The Hit Network content director of national shows, Sonder Novak-Booth has announced the appointment of Annabelle McNamara to the role of executive producer for the Carrie & Tommy national Drive show.

McNamara has been part of the Carrie and Tommy producer team for five years, most recently as senior producer. Working alongside McNamara will be Carrie & Tommy creative director Jerimiah Busniak, senior producer Jorgia Pisani, producer Samuel McGinn, and Elijah Pangalos on digital content for the show.

“Belle has been an invaluable member of the Carrie & Tommy team for 4.5 years and worked on all facets of the show, including running multiple big content executions. Her ability to read a room and influence people for positive outcomes is second to none, and her promotion is well deserved,” Novak-Booth said.

Commenting on her new role, McNamara said: “I’m so excited for the future of Carrie & Tommy – it’s truly a pleasure to work with such phenomenal people, including the passionate team that surrounds the show. Together we are dedicated to producing an outstanding national Drive show on the Hit Network.”

McNamara’s appointment is effective immediately.

Late last month, The Hit Network confirmed that Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little will continue on with the network for the next four years as hosts of the national Drive show.

The pair have carved out a loyal audience of listeners since they started the show together in 2017, with the show reaching 1.875 million listeners per week in GfK Metro Survey #7 2022. Heard across 50 stations around Australia and on the LiSTNR app, Bickmore and Little will keep listeners laughing on the drive home in 2023.

Carrie Bickmore said: “This show is such an incredible joy for me and being able to bring that joy to our listeners for another four years is extremely exciting. We already have so many thrilling adventures locked in for 2023 but in true Carrie & Tommy style, I am sure none of those will go as planned!”

Tommy Little said: “We’re here for a good time and a long time. Carrie is my best mate so another four years of riding her coat tails is a dream come true.”
