Hadley said: “From 2004 we’ve been unbeaten and it’s about hard work basically. It’s about keeping people informed and entertained, and I’m surrounded by a fantastic young team who keep me young and enthusiastic about what I do.”

“We don’t take anything for granted, we won’t do anything different. We’ll be in early, we’ll stay here and we’ll keep doing our job, and that’s what success is based on. It’s about hard work and it doesn’t matter if you’re a brickie, a plumber or like my late father, a butcher, if you work hard you get rewarded.

“Thank you to all my fellow colleagues here at Nine Radio and 2GB.”
