• This win for the agency comes on the back of winning the Four Pillars Gin account

Slingshot has announced it has won the media strategy, planning and buying account for yoghurt brand five:am and its owner Barambah Organics.

The appointment for the media strategy specialist is effective immediately.

This win for the agency continues their new business success coming on the back of winning the Four Pillars Gin account.

Slingshot chief innovation officer and partner Simon Corbett said: “The all-natural organic products produced by these brands are the best on the shelf.

“They have been leading from the front on sustainability and innovation and when you meet the team you can see why. At Slingshot we aspire to work with the very best brands and people and once again we have delivered on that,” he added.

Richard Thayne, general manager marketing at Barambah Organics, commented: “The five:am brand is ready to get back in the spotlight and we need the right creative media solutions to help us do that.

“Slingshot impressed us with the depth and breadth of their media thinking and we are really pleased to work with them,” he added.

Founded in 2010, five:am produces organic yoghurts made from natural ingredients and is free from pesticides and hormones.

Five:am was acquired by Barambah Organics in 2021 and it is now bringing the brand back to its roots, partnering with organic dairy farmers and investing in further packaging and product innovation.

Slingshot’s clients include: Universal Sony Home Entertainment, Hamilton The Musical, BlueScope, Australian Pork, Sanitarium, Masterpet, Endeavour, Solahart, Daikin, CCA, Amgen, 3M and Inspirations Paint.

Last year Slingshot recognised as one of the best places to work as selected and ranked by Australian based global workplace research and consulting firm WRK+, and came in at 19th place.

Simon Rutherford, CEO of Slingshot said: “we are very proud to be named in the top 20 Best Places to Work. We base our decisions on our people first. Our view is that if we look after our people and have the very best people delivering the very best product in market, then the profit should take care of itself.”

“We have worked really hard to create a diverse and inclusive environment. A place where every person feels they can contribute in their own unique, meaningful way and feel safe and secure in doing so, and they do it well.”

“Our promise to our people is that we will propel them further, faster in their careers. We are invested in our people and therefore committed to making them better people and better professionals. Simply because better people make better Slingers.”
