Shameless Media co-founders Michelle Andrews and Zara McDonald have signed with Venn Talent, the Australian talent agency exclusively representing women of influence.
The pair built Shameless Media into one of Australia’s most commercially successful independent media companies over eight years, reaching eight-figure annual revenue without external investment.
The business has amassed more than 150 million podcast downloads, 1.8 million collective social followers, and a team of 25 based in Melbourne.
Shameless Media took out International Podcast of the Year at the 2026 iHeart Audio Awards and Australia’s Best Podcast at the 2026 AACTA Awards. Andrews and McDonald were also named in Forbes’ inaugural 30 Under 30 list in 2024.
A new chapter
Andrews said speaking had become a natural extension of the work she and McDonald had built together.
“We love having conversations that are insightful and, hopefully, genuinely useful – whether that’s about building a media brand, understanding modern audiences, or how to get (and keep) the attention of women,” Andrews said.
Venn Talent said the signing reflected the agency’s mission to platform women who had built genuine cultural influence.
“They back themselves, they have built a movement, and they have become a voice of their generation,” the agency said.
Shameless Media claims roughly 10% of Australia’s podcast revenue across five content verticals.
