Screen Actors Guild announce nominees for the 2021 SAG Awards

• Actor Chadwick Boseman made history by picking up four nominations

A day after the Golden Globes released their nominees for 2021, the Screen Actors Guild has announced the nominees for this year’s SAG Awards.

Like the Golden Globes, Australians Cate Blanchett and Nicole Kidman have been nominated in the Outstanding Performance By A Female Actor In A Television Movie Or Miniseries category for their work on Mrs. America and The Undoing respectively.

Actor Chadwick Boseman, who died of colon cancer in August last year, made SAG Award history by picking four nominations. Boseman was nominated for his lead role in Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, for his supporting role in Da 5 Bloods, and also is included in the full cast nominations for both films.
