Pool party! Nova Red Room comp winners get wet at Vegas Calvin Harris gig

The tour party landed in Las Vegas from Rhode Island late last week

As Mazda3’s Nova Red Room Global Tour winners started their seventh day, the tour group headed to the airport to cross the USA one more time, this time en route to New York City.

So far the Nova competition winners have travelled from Sydney to Los Angeles to Rhode Island and then to Las Vegas.

When not hanging out with international pop stars, the tour group has explored the cities by day and enjoyed the restaurants, bars and night life each evening.

Over the past few days winners travelled to Rhode Island for a Nova Red Room gig at Dunkin Donuts Arena (Wednesday), in which listeners were treated to a backstage meet and greet with The Chainsmokers followed by a Red Room performance by the group and they then stayed on for the high energy stadium show that night.

After the Rhode Island gig with The Chainsmokers at the Dunkin Donuts Arena, Smallzy caught up with the duo backstage before their stadium show to check out what they were up to and discuss their plans to tour Australia. The full interview will air on Smallzy’s Surgery on Tuesday night from 7pm on the Nova Network.

The tour party landed in Las Vegas from Rhode Island late last week and spent a couple of days exploring the sights, bars and the outlet stores and on Friday night enjoyed a group dinner at Lavo, one of the hottest bars and restaurants in Las Vegas. During the dinner Clive, one of the South Australian winners, used the opportunity to propose to his long-term partner Mikayla with the entire group celebrating the happy news.

During the Las Vegas stop-over, the competition winners experienced the full Calvin Harris experience at the ultimate pool party at Wet Republic while watching from private cabanas.

After an early start the following day Mazda3’s Nova Red Room Global Tour headed to New York for a Nova Red Room with Miley Cyrus before heading back to Sydney for the final gig at The Star Sydney to see Peking Duk on 17 June.
