Cronulla Sharks win delivers Nine record NRL Grand Final ratings

Nine has reported that the metro audience of 2,647,000 is the highest-ever metro audience for an NRL Grand Final.
With the addition of 1,086,000 watching in regional markets, the total FTA audience for the match featuring the Melbourne Storm playing the Cronulla Sharks did 3,733,000.

Nine’s national peak audience was 4.226 million (5 City: 2.955 million/ Regional: 1.271 million).

Nine had a Sunday night primary channel winning share of 40.3% across the five metro capital cities. Nine had a winning share in all markets except Perth. Those metro shares were: Sydney 40.3%, Brisbane 49.8%, Melbourne 32.2%, Adelaide 19.1% and Perth 14.8%.
As expected, Nine cleaned up in all the metro key demos with 66.3% 25-54, 71.1% 16-39 and 60.4% grocery buyers with children.
