Nielsen releases data from latest Nielsen Digital Landscape report

• In July the top 10 digital parents reach over 12 million adult Australians

Information, data, and market measurement firm Nielsen has released the data from their latest Nielsen Digital Landscape report – July 2021. 

The report covers trend of total online audiences, how many Australians are reached online, trend of time spent online, how much time Australian are spending online, device ownership in Australia, surfing audience behaviour by age groups, top ten media owners – all categories, top brands that audiences are browsing – all categories, where are audience spending their online time, streaming audience behaviour by age groups, and top streaming brands with greatest video consumption.

The highlights of the report are:

• During the month of July, the top 10 digital parents reach over 12 million adult Australians. Parents include platforms, communities, news organisations, retailers, financial services, government and entertainment providers. See attached the ranking chart. 

• 93% of adult Australians’ can be reached online, with 79% able to be reached on a computer and 88% on a mobile device.

• Adult Australians spend a total of 92 hours per person consuming content online,  with 32 hours per person on computer and 69 hours per person on mobile.
