Million Dollar Murders

• Detective Superintendent Deborah Wallace shines a light on unsolved murder cases

Could one million dollars turn up the heat on a cold case of murder? Step inside the investigation of some of Australia’s most chilling mysteries when Million Dollar Murders premieres Monday, May 23, at 9.00pm on Channel Nine and 9Now

Join the host, recently retired Detective Superintendent Deborah Wallace, as Million Dollar Murders shines a light on Australia’s most notorious unsolved murder cases.

This new investigative series tackles some of the toughest crimes detectives have ever had to crack, from mysterious disappearances and kidnappings to hate crimes and thrill kills.

When there are few leads left to investigate, police will turn to the public for help, offering a $1 million reward for new information that leads to a conviction for each case.

Over six weeks in this landmark series, Deborah Wallace will use her 30 years of policing experience and insight, working alongside some of the nation’s leading detectives, to take viewers inside the investigation of six chilling murder mysteries.

With extensive and exclusive access to case files and the detectives involved in the ongoing investigations, Million Dollar Murders will travel to the crime scenes, dissect the cases, question witnesses, and talk to grieving family and friends in a concerted effort to solve these crimes.

By reviving the cold cases, Million Dollar Murders hopes to spark a long-forgotten memory or a change of heart that could finally bring about justice for victims and their families, and offer the chance of a life-changing reward for a viewer who can help to solve a case.

Million Dollar Murders is produced by The Full Box for the Nine Network.
