Henderson calls for inquiry into ABC editorial standards
Liberal senator Sarah Henderson has moved to trigger a Senate inquiry into the ABC, arguing its editorial division has drifted from its mandate.
According to The Australian’s Steve Jackson and James Madden, she notified Parliament on Monday and wants the matter sent to the Environment and Communications References Committee this week.

Snapchat starts sending shutdown warnings to under-16 users
The Australian Financial Review’s Paul Smith reports that Snapchat will begin notifying Australian users this week if it believes they are under 16, warning them their accounts are set to close under the government’s new age rules.
Around 500,000 local teens aged 13 to 15 use the app, making it one of the biggest platforms hit by the incoming restrictions.

Metro.co.uk’s Sarah Hooper reports that X has quietly flicked the switch on a new feature that shows where each account is actually based, and the change is already stirring the pot.
