Fox League’s new for 2021 show, Matty Johns Face-to-Face will launch with the biggest name in the game, Australian Rugby League commission chairman Peter V’landys, this Wednesday night at 7.30pm AEDT on Foxtel and Kayo.

Sitting down for a candid discussion with the man heralded for pushing rugby league back to glory, Johns focusses on the toughest period in the NRL’s history by delivering insight into how V’landys brought the NRL competition back to life during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.

Interviewing key characters in and around rugby league with a focus on a specific time in their life or theme of their career, a list of interviews will roll out every Wednesday night with Anthony Mundine, Karmichael Hunt, Ricky Stuart, Nicho Hynes, Frank Ponissi, Danny Buderus and more guests yet to be announced.

Fox League, available to watch on Foxtel and stream on Kayo, will air every game of every round, plus every game before the Grand Final, Live, ad-break free during play and in HD.

Fox League launched its NRL Telstra Premiership season in February. 

The faces of 2021 Foxtel and Kayo ambassadors, James Tedesco, Mitchell Moses, Kalyn Ponga and Cameron Munster were painted into the turf of Bankwest Stadium, to create the biggest player artwork on record before being joined by the Fox League commentary team to kick off the season.

The unique grass art creative was the first of its kind in Australia and set the scene to unveil Fox League’s 2021 commentary team and a programming line-up.
