MAFS 2024 gets first-look trailer and air date

MAFS 2024

Married at First Sight is back!

Network Nine has announced the premiere date and a first-look trailer for their popular reality TV series MAFS.

The dramatic dating show will be returning to TV screens on Monday, January 29 at 7.30 pm on Channel 9 and 9Now.

“Back bigger than ever to captivate the nation again and spark conversations across Australia, 20 brave singles ready for a chance at love will embark on their journey in the experiment with all of the romance, passion, emotion and drama that ensues,” a press release reads.

The network has promised that season 11 of Married at First Sight will bring a fresh take on the series with one of the most diverse casts of brides and grooms, a more age-diverse mix. There will be the show’s oldest-ever participant, as well as another same-sex couple.

The trio of experts will return for the upcoming season. Certified sexologist Alessandra Rampolla and relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling will help pair up the new couples and will work with them throughout the season.

The upcoming season will include the show’s infamous dramatic and explosive dinner parties, confronting commitment ceremonies.
Also returning will be Confessions Week, Intimacy Week and Home Stays, as well as the Couples Retreat.

“The participants will bare all, showing their honest, relatable and vulnerable sides as they immerse themselves in this fast-tracked experiment: from facing their nerves in meeting each other for the first time at the altar, to living together and working through challenges. They will also be put under the microscope and compare the highs and lows of their relationships with their fellow couples, as well as seeking guidance from the experts, in the hope of making their own marriage a long-term success,” the press release said.

MAFS Australia premiered in 2015, and Nine have since released ten seasons of the show, which have been hugely successful.
