Streaming news platform LeadStory also delivering BBC, CNBC, Fox News & more

You can now catch the latest content from Ticker News on the brand new LeadStory platform.

LeadStory is an on-demand, news streaming platform that launched globally in September. Designed to change the way we watch news, it puts the power of the algorithm in the users hands, to give them the ultimate choice over what they want to watch.

LeadStory is co-founded by newsman Cameron Price and software engineer Cheyne Wallace.

For the past 15 years Price has reported for WIN Television, Nine, Seven and Sky News in Australia and the UK.

Price and Ticker founder Ahron Young were colleagues at Sky News Australia.

The initial publishing partners in addition to ABC News and Ticker News are Euronews, Al Jazeera, Bloomberg, BBC News, Reuters, France24, CBC, CNBC, Fox News and Newsy.

The new partnership allows the top Ticker News content to be available on demand at leadstory.com.

LeadStory CEO and co-founder Cameron Price said: “Combining trusted news from the world’s biggest providers, LeadStory is delighted to welcome Ticker and its high quality, engaging content onto the platform.”

Ticker CEO Ahron Young replied: “We are thrilled to announce this distribution partnership. Ticker is constantly growing and expanding our operations in Australia and around the world.

“LeadStory is an easy choice to extend Ticker’s reach on a brand new digital platform.”

Young added Ticker News & Originals content is directly viewed over 1.97 million times each month, across all live, on-demand and social assets. Average viewing time of 23 minutes.

The On-Demand Personalised News Streaming Platform

LeadStory users are able to personalise their news feed with feeds from global news publishers.

Price said the LeadStory mission is to keep users informed in the way they choose to, empowering them to make their own decisions on what they want to watch, and how they want to watch it.

“We aim to provide publishers with a better return for their quality content, to recognise the effort, expense and expertise that goes into creating a compelling story.”
